In your "drilled down" view, you should have album covers up top and song details down below. In the lower section, you have the header with the album name. Just *above* that header you'll see the album name again, smaller, and it will have a tiny down arrow next to it. That's the context menu for that lower view. Click on that context header and you'll get a menu.
In that menu select: Group By > Album
It's probably set to "album by date" right now. Set it to Album, and you should get back the information you want.
