Ripping CD's JRiver or EAC

Hello there I love JRiver but I'm unsure which to use when ripping CD's as I like the feature in EAC that detects gaps I don't see this in JRiver so does it do it automatically or deos it put a standard gap the same for all? Many thanks in advance of any help.

Your question doesn't make sense.  All rippers separate the tracks on CD's into individual tracks / files.

Gap behavior can change during playback.  That's in MC's audio settings.

Hi Mr H

EAC has a detect gaps option which I use when ripping CDs as not gaps are the same throughout a CD if JRiver does this naturally I will switch to using it instead of EAC I'm no expert but its taken me years to get were I am today with my ripped collection and don't want to screw up now.

Ripping a CD to separate files means the gap doesn't exist anymore.  JR (and honestly every ripper since the late 90's) will auto-detect gaps and burn the tracks with no issues.

The one exception is hidden tracks before the first track.
