Automatic Playback - Audio

To All:

I am using HDMI to my audio receiver to a HDMI matrix switch.  I have quite a few various audio types and while playing my music I often get a

"playback could not be started using the format" 96 kHz 24 bit 2ch.
or
Playback could not be started on the output of WASAPI using the format 96 kHz 2ch"
or
"some other options"

As such it asks if I would like to change to 48 kHz or some other settings...

I have a older AMD Radeon HD 6570 card and a Denon 4311 receiver

How do I get it so that if needed that box does not come up and just does it (and picks the best output)

I have been trying to figure out if it comes up if there is some option to say just play it but have not found it.

Tools > Options > Audio > Advanced > auto configure output settings on playback error > Yes
