MC does check for case sensitive filesystem when scanning files?

When I updated some files in my library it updated the format ok from .mp3 to .flac but the filename continued with the initial letters uppercase like:


--- Code: ---01 Deus Le Volt!.flac

--- End code ---

when the name of the file changed to:


--- Code: ---01 Deus le volt!.flac

--- End code ---

At first I've tought that the "!" at the end of the filename would be the problem but it would be the case if the file wasn't found in the search.

So, after the scan, it shows that it found the changes, but it didn't updated in the library as this log shows:


--- Code: ---Library now has 16112 files. Search and update took 0:35.

Imported 0 new files.
Updated 91 files that had external changes.

/run/media is typically used for external devices, like USB drives.

Is that indeed an external drive, and what filesystem are you using on it?

Yeah, is a usb harddrive that I use to store my library. But that should not interfer with this as linux hides it from the programs.
