MC22 forces the upsample rate to 176.4

I am using MC22 in W10 and have set the sample rate in W10 Sounds to 384/24 and my DAC switches over to that rate.  Then I go into MC22 and set the upsample rate to that, but when I try to save and exit, it says it cannot start playback at 384 but says that 174.6 will work, do I want to switch?  So I accept the switch and go back into widows and reset the sample rate to 174.6 and everything works.  Why can I not upsample to 384/24 and only to 176.4/24?
