What's happened to the View Schemes?
« on: June 30, 2003, 12:29:11 am »

I can only seem to add View Schemes from a predefined selection, I can't create my own (9.1.207). This makes it almost unusable for me at the moment.

Is this a temporary limitation, or am I completely missing the option?

:) You are completely missing the option!  The way t create them has changed.  You need to click add new view scheme and then right click in the bar above the panes and choose which fields you want to add.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. Not the most intuitive idea I must say. Perhaps we need one of those show-once-only help boxes to pop up to guide newbies?

I would agree with V-Man, I'm still having trouble adjusting to this and I'm far from a newbie. It's really lost some of it's ease-of-use and efficiency. I would think there might be a more centralized way of creating these functions rather than having them spread all over the place.
