Rushing playing DSD on Mac with InLine Amp
« on: September 24, 2017, 07:08:01 am »

Hello I need some help,
I run JRiver Media Center 23 on my Mac, now I want to push up the quality of my music with DSD, I got a few Jazz Files in High quality (DSF-5644kbps-2822400Hz) and I want to listen to this music on my Headphones (beyerdynamic T90).
There for I bought a new Headphone Amplifier (InLine 99206I AmpUSB, High-Resolution Audio HiFi DSD Headphone Amp. USB Digital Konverter).
I setup Audio options in the media center as recomanded:
Audio Device: BRAVO-HD HS USB Audio
Settings: DSP & output format
Bitstreamind: yes (DSD)
But I have an extreme rushing, the music I hear only very quietly in the background!
Has anybody any Idea what I do wrong?

You might have to open the Audio MIDI Setup app (found in Mac's Applications > Utilities folder) and set the bit-depth and sample rate to the highest available. It's required to get DSD working on Mac for some DACs.

For example, here's a screenshot of how it looks for my DSD DAC and the Audio MIDI Setup app: https://i.imgur.com/AEU9uSh.png
