Hotkey to search field???
« on: June 27, 2003, 03:24:53 am »

I'm running 9.1.207 and I find myself using the search window on the main interface of the MegaMe skin quite frequently.

I searched through help and found references to pop-up search windows, but there doesn't appear to be a way to "jump" to the search field on the main interface (aside from clicking).

Feature Request
If a hotkey could be added that would take you to that window, it would make it much easier to utilize. It sounds as though several posters here prefer to navigate using keyboard commands (as do I), so this would be a nice addition IMHO.

Thanks!

It's there: Ctrl+F

Hit enter after typing to play the results.

I think he means in the current search options.

Ctrl+F takes u to the top level.

Ctrl+Shift+F would be nice to do it in the current spot :)

Nila is quite correct ...

Although I was ignorant of the Ctrl+F shortcut, it does indeed reset the view to the entire library (which is beneficial in certain cases).

However, it would be nice to have an additional hotkey to simply search the currently displayed list (for example, playing now).

Thanks for the responses, by the way. It's great to have such a high level of support.
