Recent 9.1 builds have been unable to work the smartlists here. I'm a little curious about this as I would have expected to see quite a few other posts about this. As there are not, I begin to wonder if I'm the only one with this problem.
Regular "fixed" playlists are working fine, but no smartlists at all will show up in either the panes or the tree.

I just read that over again and it really is a truly awful post
I'll try again......

I right-click on the media library in the tree and select "Add view scheme > audio > empty" next, I click on the column header and set it's properties to "playlist" which pops the dialogue asking which playlist group it should use.
Any smartlists in the chosen group doesn't show up in the pane, or the tree. If the playlist group is made exclusively of smartlists, the only entry in the pane is <all>.
If I expand the playlist tree and click directly on the smartlist, the correct file list is produced.

Did I explain it better this time? Anyone else getting this?

Yeah, I was trying this earlier today and it didn't seem to work.  Didn't get any tracks.
