Installing JRiver Mediacenter 23 ARM on a Raspberry Pi 2

<< < (2/2)

Awesome Donkey:
Raspbian released a new version in September which is based on Stretch.

This guide will probably help you with updating/upgrading Raspbian: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/raspbian/updating.md

Thanks. I managed to upgrade to Jessie and installed JRiver 23. For some reason my external USB drive is now listed under an extra directory (PI) that didn't exist in Wheezy. So I had to find replace in the main library the old pathname in wheezy with the new pathname showing in Jessie. Unfortunately couldn't do the same for the pathname of the image files (unless you know a way to do it automatically!?)  so I amended them ( aprox. 150 covers) manually!!!.

I will at some point upgrade to raspbian stretch.

Another issue I came across is Port Forwarding. It doesnt work in Jessie although the parameters are exactly the same as in Wheezy where it used to work perfectly. Any thoughts.

Thanks for your help
