I tried it one more time while watching the process so I could see exactly when the error message popped up...

It happened right after the system had gone thru the 'preparing' the tracks to burn.
As soon as it switched to start to copy the first track, the same error message I mentioned in my original post showed up.

Any Help?
Thanks,
Barry

It could be....

1) XP's built in burning software is interfering, in which case you need to disable it by...

Right clicking on the My Computer icon and select properties.
Find your RW drive and right click on icon. Select Drive properties.
Go to the Recording tab and uncheck "Enable CD recording on this drive"
Reboot

2) Drive isn't supported (unlikely)

3) Installed over other MJ version (v7 or older, v9)

Uno thanks for your suggestion but it seems rebooting has corrected the problem.........
