Font is hard to read

Is it just the trial version or is the font the same on the paid version of the Media Center? The font is a bad white color that is not even sharp, and tiny.

Try setting Retina mode.

It's worth noting that the trial and paid version of MC is exactly the same - the trial is fully featured.

Like Jim said Retina Mode should help, depending if the skin you're using supports it.

The Retina mode does help, but the toolbar font is still too small. Seriously, if this can't be made larger, it makes me reconsider purchasing the app.

Even so MC gets a bit grumpy when you do it (something along the lines it had been optimized for smaller fonts - it may also help enlarging the font.

As an example: for the Modern Cards skin - the only one I like on my MacBook (13) BTW - Geneva @ size 24 seems to look quite nice (while View > Size ... is set to Retina).
