Music Files get Mixed Up When Installing MC23

I am running Media Center 22 on an iMac running High Sierra and it works fine. I recently purchased Media Center 23. However after I downloaded it the music files now on MC23 do not reflect what is on MC22. Basically a large number files within the Audio>Albums view of the files on MC22 are placed in the same file on MC23 called  “Unassigned Files” with no cover art except a blue note showing. Within this large unassigned file are various pieces of music in no special order which were properly ordered within their appropriate files within MC22
How can I fix this?
