DSP Plugins
« on: June 24, 2003, 02:04:25 pm »

Hey,

I was wondering whether anyone here had any experience with writing DSP Plugins.  I've very interested in creating a DSP plugin that will do room correction and/or act as an active crossover.  I have a friend who's an applied mathematician (and an avid audiophile) who will help be do the actual filtering and processing, I just have to come up with the playback method.  I was thinking of using MC and implementing it with a plugin.

I've posted a message over in the plugin's section, however, there seems to be less traffic over there, so I just thought that I'd post over here to see whether anyone had any suggestions.

For the active crossover option, I'd need to be able to split the stereo input into 2 or 3 different output streams.

Thanks,
kiwi
