Looking into openHAB as a z wave solution while Engen development is on hold. Anybody here have experience with this software, good or bad?

On first glance, openHAB looks remarkably powerful. It may be able to control Engen via REST commands, plus robust IFTTT integration.

Some very rudimentary experience. I think home assistant is a better choice, but I am sure you will get differing opinions.
