Hello - I am importing to the id via USB drive. The import executes very quickly, but the music/files go to /Media/Lexar & I have to leave the Lexar USB drive in in order to get them to play. How do I get these imported files into the id permanantly?

Their answer from one of your previous threads:

From Windows, open Explorer, then Network.  If you don't see your Id under Computers, enter the IP address.

Example:  \\192.168.1.17

Then open Internal Storage > Media.  You can copy and paste files there.  Try a few before you do very many.  Make sure you can import them on the Id.

You can also set up the Id as a Handheld device in MC's options.  Just browse for the location.  After doing that, you can sync to the Id.

Using a Windows PC which is on the same network as the Id, plug the Lexar into a USB port, then open Windows Explorer and copy the files from the Lexar to the Internal Storage > Media folder on the Id. Then import the files into MC using the Id.
