Hi,

I just remuxed Harry Potter 1-6 blu-rays with VSO convertxtovideo 2.0.0.84 into mkv.

JR MC 23.0.91 has problems with playback:

At first it takes 21 seconds to start, jumping forward works 1-2 times and not wider.

VLC 2.2.8 starts immediately with playback. Jumping forward & backward works without any problems.

I cant help with what might be going wrong, but I have used makemkv hundreds of times on blu rays and dvds without any problems.

Makemkv is free (while in beta) as it has been for years! Once your trial lapses, the creator posts a registration code on the associated forum which means you can continue to use it.

A great piece of software, why not try it for one rip and see if things work for you?

Use makemkv to rip/unlock your BD, BDA, DVD, and DVD-A (TS_ folders, not the MLP “side”).

If the output mkv from makemkv is still slow in MC, try remuxing the mkv with mkvtoolnix (free) while enabling the following options:
Engage_no_cue_duration
Engage_no_cue_relative_position
Clusters_in_meta_seek
