resampling audio from 352.8
« on: January 06, 2018, 09:37:36 pm »

i am feeding audio to my marantz via HDMI using nVidia HD audio drivers which do not support the more "uncommon" sampling rates.

for my DSF files that are 352.8, does it make most sense to resample to 44.1 (which is an even multiple)?

the nVidia drivers support:

44.1, 48, 96, 192 kHz.  i am assuming that it's best to re-sample to an even multiple.

curious...

Personally, I would resample to 192 Khz or 96 Khz.  Given the current algorithms I do not think the integer advantage is important. The best way to tell is to try both and decide what you like best.
