Although this is a frequent problem, I can't see any solutions that apply 100%. So: I'm back getting this message on my iPad. It will appear in between tracks it seems, though "Transcode" is enabled all the time. (I've also tried disabling it, with no luck.)
I'm running the latest versions of MC for Mac, and latest OS on both my Mac and on the iPad. I'm running Apple TV from/through my iPad, but I suppose that doesn't matter.
Please?

Not at all. And things like Spotify, YouTube and iTunes all run without problems.

In my case it helped to keep the embedded artwork below 1000 x 1000 pixels.

It may be worth a try, but it is still strange that this should happen during playback of one and the same album, as the artwork would be the same.
