Sort by bit depth - then track
« on: December 22, 2017, 05:42:22 pm »

Hi, I have a lot of albums in both 16 bit and 24 bit - am I able to sort by the highest resolution first and then by track? I wasn't able to find a way to do this effectively on my own.

I want the best version (based on bit depth and bit rate) to be the first version of the album I see, and maintain the track order.

Picture attached with how my albums look for reference.

does it work to your satisfaction if you click track #, then bit depth, then album?

Thanks - I've just done some experimenting based on your suggestions below and found the following combination works best for me.....except in the case of SACD iso's, where Bitrate is "1" and these are pushed to the bottom - but that isn't a major issue for me since I only have a few.

SETTINGS

Sort Inside Groups By:

Bitrate - Z-A
Disc # - A-Z
Filename (Path) - Z-A
Sample Rate - Z-A
Track # - A-Z

does it work to your satisfaction if you click track #, then bit depth, then album?
