Both are correct.
The first image shows the JRiver WDM Driver properties. That driver is used to enable other applications to play sound through MC, rather than through the Windows sound system. It is an Input to MC, not an Output to your receiver, DAC, amplifier, or whatever. If you wish to use that feature the WDM Driver, which is called "JRiver Media Center 23", needs to be set as the default Windows audio device. Search the Wiki for "WDM Driver". WDM just means Windows Driver Model.
The second image shows the Audio Path in MC while you are playing a track. It is showing the sample rate and bit depth of that track, and that no DSP or changes are being made to it before output to your receiver, DAC, amplifier, or whatever. Search the Wiki for "Audio Path".
