Need help configuring a Mac mini, MC 23 & PS Audio DSD.

Using Mac Mini High Sierra & PS Audio DSD DAC with USB connection & J River MC 23.

Had several odd issues this morning so I restarted everything & it seems  to be working now, but I don't know if I am getting the most out of my setup. I have a lot of hi res music files & some DSD files all on a USB drive connected to the Mac mini.
Can someone point me to recommended settings for Mac Mini, MC 23 & PS Audio DSD?

My DAC (PS Audio DSD) is connected to the Mac via USB.

Ah, in that case...

For DSD, make sure DSD bitstreaming is enabled. Also you might need to open the Audio MIDI Setup app on the Mac, and set the bit-depth and sample rate to the highest available for your DAC to get DSD playback working (this is required for some DACs).
