SONOS support (Sonos accessing JRiver)

Hey Folks,
I've been loving my JRiver library for years and have recently put in some Sonos all-home speakers. I can play from JRiver to Sonos perfectly (thanks!) but my normal use case is my wife or I using the Sonos controller to access a Library. I cannot for the life of me see JRiver Media Network as a DLNA source. I was told even freebie MediaMonkey works in this way and I confirmed it! Am I doing something wrong or is free MediaMonkey better that JRiver in this regard? (That would suck, quote frankly).

Hey Andrew,

To be honest, it's hard to tell now! Didn't there used to be stop start button, and a tray icon?

Anyway, I assume it is as I can browse it and play tracks using a desktop browser pointing to it.

Do you have Sonos and can you control JRiver from Sonos?

Have a read of the Wiki - https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/DLNA

You need to turn on the DLNA Server and select a profile (or create one).

Thanks JMone, that didn't help with getting the Sonos controller to see MC as a source.  I'm really surprised there aren't more Sonos folks on the board.

In the end, I'll just use JRemote and work the other way (MC to Sonos), no problemo.

I have 4 Sonos players throughout the house accessing my Synology NAS for my Music Library. It is the same library that is loaded when I use MC. I am now using the JRiver Id Pi which replaced my PC as the USB connection to my DAC.

Not sure why you would want to "see" MC in the Sonos controller - you should be able to see your music library in the Sonos app (unless it is local to your PC).

I am way over the 65K track limit, so I wanted to access my MC library instead as a DLNA source, like I can with the Media Monkey server.
