Unable to Connect JRiver to my MC52
« on: January 16, 2018, 03:51:11 pm »

I recently downloaded and installed Media Center 23 and loaded my audio files (MP4, FLAC, DSD)
ASUS platform w/Windows 10 OS connect to C52 via USB.
Downloaded and installed McIntosh-HD CPL
I am able to received audio output from the ASUS (Netflix) but not JRiver.

Selected "Audio Device" to "McIntosh-HD"
In DSP Studio I set "Output Encoding" to 2xDSD in DoP format"
Depending on the file I select to play, I receive a different error message
"Playback could not be started on the computer "ASIO" using format "44.1 kHz 2CH (or other format).
I attempted to modify the "Sample rate" in DSP Studio, however I'm unable to make any modifications. All Output are set at "no change".

Please advise on detailed settings.

Thanks in advance!

try using wasapi and see if it plays and or change the output (format "44.1 kHz 2CH )  to 96....just do little changes and not a lot at a time so you don't get lost and you can revert back to the original set up. also be aware some changes will only take affect after playback is stopped and restarted and some may need MC to be closed wait for 30 seconds and restart...but it usually tells you.

Oh and welcome to Interact jeffgordo
