I find it convenient to get to an artist by typing the name in the search box.  This saves me scrolling through thousands of artists, even though that is pretty quick.  However, when I search for the artist "war" I seemingly get everything but "war" in the suggestions.  I do get all of war songs in the filtered list, but that is not what I want.  I want to be able to click on the artist "war" and be able to select that artist from suggestions.  I've been doing this for years and have always been able to find the artist by typing in the name in suggestions.  Am I doing something wrong.

Make sure you're using the latest build because there was some suggestion tuning recently.

Using 23.0.94.   Attached is a screenshot.  Seems really weird.

Would you be willing to send a library backup to matt at jriver dot com?

I named my trusty Abba to War for the artist and the search found it no problem.  I'm hoping with a backup I could see what's going on.

Thanks for the backup.

The issue is that we limit our results to 10 and there are lots of matches to the word war.

I'll try a fix for the next build.  Please let us know how it works.

Matt.   Thank you very much.  Very nice to have MC (incredible product) and the team at JRiver.  But can't always have everything - Maybe next year for Superbowl.
