What bitrate should I use for HD audio via DLNA?
« on: May 29, 2018, 09:56:28 am »

I have many selections that are 24 bit, 96kHz encoded.  I'd like to stream these selections to my Oppo BDP-103, which will convert them to analog stereo and send them to my preamplifier.

When configuring my DLNA connection, it looks like I have two options...

  - leave it in original format
  - transcode it into PCM 24 bit

Does that sound right?

Thank you, in advance...
