Switching within Zone Groups?

I realize it's early days yet, but I'm wondering if the Zone Groups could also support Zone Switch, rather than always using synchronized playback.

Basically having any number of zones grouped together, but only one zone plays audio at a time.
As an example, this could enable a playlist consisting of 2 channel and multichannel tracks, sending the 2ch tracks to one zone config and the mch tracks to another.
