Problems with Master License MC24

Hello!

I  purchased a MC 24 Master License earlier today - upgrade from MC 21 Windows.
Because there is no download for MC 24 on Linux I installed MC 23 (in Ubuntu) - everything fine - MC running - sounds great!!

But when I try the licensing - with "Media Center24 Master-xxxxxx.mjr" in directory  "/home/ machine/downloads" -  I get following error message
CRegistrationHelper::RestoreFromFile: license file /home/bon/Downloads/Media Center24 -Master-xxxxxx.mjr not found.
Could not restore license from file /home/bon/Downloads/Media Center24 Master-xxxxxx.mjr

And its the same when I change the .mjr file to Media Center 24 Master-xxxxxx.mjr

So could anybody tell me whats the problem??
Is it because I got MC24 key and there is a MC23 installation?? - or is the file just in the wrong directory??

And - I installed latest repository!!

Instead of typing out the license file location you could just drag and drop the .mjr license file into the Terminal to get the correct path instead (just make sure you add a space after /RestoreFromFile before you drag and drop the /mjr license file into the Terminal).

Also you'll have to make sure you're using MC 23.0.102 to get the MC24 license to be accepted.

I am having a similar problem.

Running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Installed MC23 no problem but MC24 Master licence will not work.

Shows - Error - Error your licence file is for a different product.

Works fine on windows install.

Install 23.0.102 and it'll work.

To get a MC24 Linux/Master license working in MC23, you need to be running MC 23.0.102 (or above if there's any new MC23 builds). As far as I know the build(s) in the stable repo won't/can't use the MC24 license, simply just switch to the latest repo and update!
