That is normal for major upgrades of MC.

On MC22, File > Library > Back Up Library...
Take careful note of where the backup is saved.

On MC23, File > Library > Restore Library...
Restore the backup from the location you noted above. Include settings.

All your Playlist, Views, settings, etc. will be restored in MC23.

RickWyler:
Thank you so much.  I will give it a try now.

RickWyler:
It worked!  Thank you.

Now I believe I need to wait until May when MC 24 is officially released.  I'm glad I got the $18 price.  Patience...

Hi Guys, i have MC 22 and i've been using it on a Mac  since MC  18, now when i'm gonna buy the upgrade for mac, it says i have a master license so i have to buy a master, can't find the upgrade for mac.
do i have to buy the master, even though i won't use a windows computer at all?
is there anyway to just purchase the mac upgrade?
thank you in advance

RoderickGI:
You must have bought the Master Licence at some stage. If not, Jim will have to sort you out.

If you may have bought the Master Licence at some stage, say only for MC22, then if you can find a Mac only licence from an earlier version, perhaps the original MC18 Mac licence, then you can just use the registration code from that to upgrade to an MC24 Mac licence.

If you still have copies of the buy-button emails from JRiver for those earlier purchases, then they will tell you which licence you bought, and the registration code for each. Otherwise you will have to go through the restore licence process for the earlier version, if you know the User ID and Password you used for those purchases.
