Is Autorip totally broken in MC23 for MAC?
« on: March 19, 2018, 08:18:16 pm »

I have a superdrive connected to a MAC Mini via USB. I have all the switches set in MC23, Eject disc after ripping, Play a sound after ripping. With MC23 running I insert a CD & nothing. I have to go to tools > Ric CD > then it says no CD inserted, so I have to eject the CD via Finder, reinsert it & then hit Rip. Then it rips the CD, but does not eject or make the sound when it indicates that it is finished. I can't hit insert another CD, nothing happens. I eject the CD & put in the next to be ripped. Nothing. At this point MC 23 is locked up 1/2 the time. Upon restart, the same happens.
Has this ever worked for anyone with MAC OS High Sierra (latest) & a Superdrive on a MAC Mini? I'm new to the MAC, so not sure if the drive is not responding to MC23 commands or if MC23 is dysfunctional. It was a very frustrating ripping session.
