i purchased the 24 upgrade and installed it on my 1 pc everything works perfekt

but when i take my new 24 license and  put in the numbers and get the mjr file it install it and say everything is ok but when i wanna upgrade it tels me there is a newer version and link to more information.

but if have the 24 license it shouldnt link to a newer version but just upgrade to it???

dunno why so what do i do wrong?

Assuming that you're running MC23 (23.0.102 or higher) now, you can ignore the message.

Easier said than done as it pops up every time I run MC.
Is this going to keep happening every day for the next month and more until MC24 is released sometime in May?

Try disabling the automatic updates, Help menu > Update Channels > and select Disable Automatic Update and see if it goes away.

You mean the "Disable Automatic Update (not recommended)" setting.

That would stop me automatically getting any updates released in the future, which is not what I would want.
I just want the "buy MC24 nag" to go away as I have already paid for that upgrade.

Assuming that you're running MC23 (23.0.102 or higher) now, you can ignore the message.

Hopefully the Media Center team can fix this with an update, so that it does not present the message if MC23 is activated with a license for MC24.
