no sound
« on: March 29, 2018, 01:28:01 pm »

I'm at a loss. I'm not too technically savvy so need some handholding here.

I ran Audirvana+ with virtually no setup. I installed it and it worked from the getgo. But a few things bugged me so I thought I'd give JRiver a try. For the life of me I can't figure out why there's no sound. I tried it on a secondary Mac and there it works fine. I can't determine what's different between the two Macs and between Audirvana and JRiver.

I'd appreciate suggestions about what settings I should check first.

Tools menu > Options... and from there go to the Audio section, and select your desired output under Audio Device. If you still don't get sound you *might* also have to then open Device settings and disable integer mode.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

That did it! Dragonfly wasn't selected. Working fine now. Thank you!
