I have a friend that has many multi channel recordings (flac). I am currently listening via emotive dac (mostly all flac).
My Oppo will do just fine streaming this multi channel music (via dnla).
My question is: How do I get the multi channel to import to a different user/zone etc? Since a lot of the music is of the same artist/album (that I currently have) if I import this music currently it will not play with my current emotive dac and it will more than likely throw the same album together w my current album (wreaking havoc on my current playlist).
If I create a second zone (called multi channel for only multi channel) and import only the music to that zone (will that work)? Do I delete all files in that zone (it currently shows same files as main library). i know i have to change my output format to 5.1 (but aren't that familiar w/ much else) to make the oppo work.
any help would be appreciated!!
