Are you running the latest build? (24.0.16)?

I reinstalled MC 24 again and it is now working.  Strange stuff.  Thanks everyone.

I am experiencing the same issue. OS - Sierra 10.13

Make sure you're using 24.0.16. If it's still crashing, disable auto-import.
