Open GL Theater View and MS Remote Desktop
« on: April 18, 2018, 07:56:34 am »

For Theater View Open GL is the new standard in MC24.
It seems that Open GL does not work within a Microsoft Remote Desktop Environment?
Is this true?
How to control a Media Renderer connected to a TV from a Laptop using Theater View or Standard View in MC24?

OpenGL is indeed not available through Remote Desktop. Standard View still works just fine. Or you can use another remote desktop solution like VNC which works with OpenGL.

Chrome Remote Desktop works for me. Not sure, but this might depend on GPU & GPU driver version. I had issues with latest nvidia drivers, found that 388.59 works for me.
