How do I stop MC downsampling my music?
« on: November 14, 2016, 01:16:55 pm »

I have my MC connected from my laptop with WASAPI to my Marantz AVR by HDMI.

when playing CD rips I get:
Audio Path: Direct
input: 44.1kHz 16bit 2 channel from source format FLAC
changes: No changes being made
output: 44.1kHz 24bit (padded) 2ch using WASAPI (direct connection)
I also get the blue light on the tools button.

but when playing downloads I get
input: 192kHz 24bit from source format FLAC
changes: resample from 192kHz to 48kHz
output: 48kHz 24 bit padded 2ch using WASAPI (direct connection)

I had been getting my hi-res downloads being played with no changes, but now they are being resampled down to 48kHz. I haven't changed any of the settings and can't figure out how to get my hi-rec FLAC's played back without being downsampled. Any help?

Hi there. Did you ever resolve this? I had a similar issue in MC24 (and have had a similar number of helpful replies...)
