I just tried to connect to my Idpi via vnc and got the initial desktop image, but then a black screen with the message:
"Error starting OpenGL engine
(Initialzing OpenGL rendering window failed)"

Pressing the escape key brought everything back.
Is there a problem, Houston? Or is this a vnc problem?

I don't think there is a problem. This is the error message you get when starting Theater View on the IdPi. Maybe an accidental keystroke caused it to try and start Theater View? You could also check the behavior settings to make sure it's not set to jump to Theater View when playing certain media types (Tools -> Options -> General).

Thanks so much.  I have never used theatre view, so I don't know how I managed to do it, but it appears to be resolved now.  Thank you.
