Cannot play Bluray
«
on:

Hi,
I"m a longtime MC user and just recently decided to use it for DVD play; however, trying to play a Bluray dvd I get the message that I need to install AnyDVD HD to play Bluray discs. I can play them on PowerDVD, but not MC.
Any advice?
Thanks

You need a decrypter like AnyDVD HD to playback Blu-ray discs in MC. Or you can use something like MakeMKV to rip Blu-ray discs into MKV and play those directly (sans menus and whatnot).

So MC is not a viable standalone Player like PowerDVD?

You could rip it with Makemkv and then play it without needing any other software..
