4K file plays but fast forward fails

not sure if i can put this here or start a new thread apologize if in the wrong place.
I have a 4k file plays beaut but try Fast forward and it freezes.
any help is appreciated

Are the files local or do you play them over your network?

I also have this sometimes. My  observation was, if I have a video stream > 40 Mbit/s over the network with an audio latancy < 25 ms, my network components, or the MC process does't immidetialy recognise fast forward if using JRemote because they are "very busy".

Is that also your observation?
