When play doctor works I really love it, a great feature.
I have noticed some inconsistencies:
- I right click a file choose play doctor and then it makes a playlist from a totally different song, sometimes I need to right click and do it a dozen times before it will work on that track.
- My file genres are tagged for software that supports multiple genres separated by '/', if I choose to play doctor a track with a single genre it doesn't get many tracks that have multiple genres
- Sometime it makes a playlist with the same same song repeated for 80% of the playlist
How does play doctor work? I couldn't find any really thorough explanations. I am assuming it must work from my metadata. Which tags specifically? Some of these issues are possibly how I have my files tagged, I also have the album artists separated by '/' for software that supports it. Does play doctor in the linux version have known issues? I notice some other things are perfected on linux yet.
