Running ASIO with no DSP's and adjusting volume within MC24/64 has no effect. Running ASIO straight, no DSP's in another music player, I can adjust the volume.
What am I missing?

You could just switch to "Internal" volume.
You could also use the ASIO configuration dialog to manually select the volume device.

I read the Wiki, but a little confused...when you say internal, are you saying Windows volume?

In Media Center, click the menu at the top and pick:
Player > Volume > Internal volume
You can read more about it here:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Volume
It's 64-bit, so simply as good of a volume as you could have.

Tools>Options>Audio - expand Volume settings and select Volume mode: internal volume.
