Unmuting Volume
« on: July 30, 2018, 06:00:25 pm »

Hello,

This is a minor issue that I have noticed for a while, and is also in MC24...

I use a copy of MC to connect to a library on other system to control the second system that does the audio playing.  If the speakers are muted, when MC is started, it unmutes them, this is on the controlling system, and not the system that is actually doing the playback.

Is there a setting some where that i have missed?

Thanks!

I have use MJ/MC since MJ8 mainly for audio playback.

Try "Options > Audio > Volume > Startup Volume" set to 0 (zero). I'm not sure if MC allows a zero setting, but you could try it. The Volume Mode you use might make a difference. Internal Volume might be best.
