Which grafikcard for madvr

(1/3) > >>

Inquisition:
I wanna ask which graficcard people use for madvr?

At moment i have an GT730. Watching HD Ready (720p) with madvr and upscaling to 1080p is smooth and no problem. SD material makes sometimes stuttering cause gpu rises up to 100% power hole time.

Will help an old GTX970 to use madvr for upscaling SD material to 1080p?  I need an graficcard with and hdmi and vga (or dvi i) output for touchpanel in pc case. Thats the reason why no actually card.

Inquisition:
No one uses a graficcard?

I use a MSI gt1030 low profile and have MadVR enabled.  I have a 1080p display and I'm happy with the picture quality I get from madvr

I have a GTX 1070  (Video Passmark of ~11285)  in my PC + UW Screen and a GTX 960 (Video Passmark of ~5996) for my Media Renderer + 4K LG TV.

With GTX 970 you are able to use the AI algorithm like NGU to a certain high level, if using 1080p resolution.

GTX 970 (Video Passmark of ~8633) does not support HDR, HDCP 2.2 and H.265 decoding, as far as I know. If you don't want t go the 4K route a GTX 970 is a more than enough card for madVR if using 1080p.

I don't know what the GTX 970 actual costs, a GTX 1060 is a more future proof card.

Hi and thanks for the answers.

Yes I hear from the 970 and no hdr.    At moment I have a fullhd TV but think about new one next year so it will became 4k and a newer card would be better yes.

I have an little 7" touchpanel on my pc so I need an card with hdmi and vga (or dvi i)   and the most newer cards don't have that.
I will look and search, maybe some has others ideas
