Please make the "Show Tree" and "Show Action Window" check boxes actually do something within Options->Startup->Startup Interface

Currently they do not seem to do anything when cleared?

Odd, I have both of those checkboxes unchecked and the tree/action center don't show for me when MC starts.

I have never been able to get these to work. No matter checked or not checked. After a bunch of experiments this week I am wondering if this 5 version old library I am rocking here is finally showing it's shortcomings. Been getting a lot of very odd issues popping up - especially when I compare this library on my PC vs what a default library looks like when installed clean on another machine.

I may have to bite the bullet and start over. I will also test a fresh install that I just did to my HTPC to see if these checkboxes do anything. I seem to recall they dod not work there either. Will report back in another thread.
