This is skin dependent.  Eight of the fifteen available skins don't show the defect: Black on Black, Modern Cards Dark/Grey/White editions, Noire, Pearl Bailey, Pono, Purity. 

Seven skins seem to show this defect: Aruba, Blue Steel, Green Eyes, Noire Glass, PixOS, Thunderstorm, Z.
