When I attempt to search based on the Label field in MC24 it does not appear to work. It will pick up Publisher and Copyright(which I don't tend to use) but not Label. Am I missing something or is this working as intended?

Well, I put info into that field...

It's just that I looked through the library fields including hidden and I don't see a Label field listed.

My library has Label, which I don't recall adding myself (and when I check it it shows tags I would never use myself). But that is kind of beside the point. I have a number of albums with the Label field populated with data- and when I build a pane view and add Label as a category, I get results.  Shouldn't any field in the library return results from the Search function?

If you go to Tools> Options>Library & Folders> Manage library fields and add a search keyword such as label= it should work. Since this isn't a native MC24 tag it probably doesn't have a search keyword set up for it.

Yeah, i just figured that out and I now get search results.

What is odd is that I really don't recall adding this field myself but I must have, many years ago.  I am only really just starting to use it.

It was probably a tag produced by a different program.
