Following a server rebuild on the HTPC over the weekend - I started from scratch and re-imported my entire library clean. Date Imported of course reads the date I rebuild my library which makes the Recent Album view quite useless.
To combat this issue - over on my personal PC - I have a standalone library and using tips from this thread:
https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=97481.0I added some new "Date Added" fields to this library and then added the same fields to the HTPC library. My standalone library contains all the original "Date Imported" values for anything I imported in 2018.
Now - I am trying to use the "Move/Copy fields" function to copy the original Date Imported to my new "Date Added (editable)" field which would nicely place these 2018 import dates into my custom fields and allow me to sort the HTPC library "recent albums" view exactly the same way I see it on my personal PC.
But when I choose Date Imported as Source and Date Added (Editable) as Destination and set Action to Copy - nothing happens. My Date Added (editable) field remains blank?
EDIT: It seems to work if I use the Display (calculated) Date Added field instead of the original Date Imported field as the Source.
