I use JRemote to browse and play my extensive library of files stored on a NAS via a Mac mini server running MC. Connected to the Mini is a basic Apple Superdrive that I can use to play redbook CDs through JRiver's "Drives and Devices" menu feature (to do this I leave JRemote and go to JRiver via the Splashtop app on my iPad Air II, since I run the server headless). This works fine but it's a bit fussy. It occurred to me to wonder whether there's a way to see the attached drive in JRemote and control it from within that app. Any advice appreciated . . . .
