« on: October 04, 2018, 10:32:28 am »

When I connect remotely to my JRiver client the audio is converted in mp3@320kbps though I specified in the options Media network setting 'Son'tconvert audio'... what is wrong here?

How are you connecting?
There are different places to configure this depending on how you are accessing your library remotely (library server client, gizmo, etc).

I am connected by Internet: the client is a JRiver istance running from my office PC (with server disabled of course) reading files from a library of a JRiver server running from home

On the Client JRiver instance, do
Tools->Options->Media Network->Client Options (when connected to a library server)->Audio Conversion->Don't convert audio

Then disconnect and reconnect to the remote library (with switch libraries to and from main or restart the client JRiver).

Thanks! I was wrong being convinced that bit rate selectio would be a server decision!
Cheers
