Double click on UI-border behavior

in macOS when the user clicks on a border of an applications UI, it maximizes in this direction (e.g. click on the left side and the UI enhances to the left side of the screen). This does not seem to happen with MC, can this be implemented?
In addition, it would be nice and benefit the UX to have the macOS "arrows" when the mouse hovers over the border of the UI.
